Sherbourne House has many years’ experience in arranging funeral teas. It can be a difficult time and our dedicated team will work with you to ensure all arrangements are made with ease and due reverence to the occasion.

A Private and Peaceful Space for Your Gathering

Our Funeral Teas take place in the main function room, allowing you exclusive access to the bar and conservatory.

You are more than welcome to bring in photographs, music for the sound system, (or use ours) and flowers to decorate the venue. The rooms are exclusively yours for as long as you need.

To assist in the planning of the occasion, we have three funeral tea options:

Menu A

£15.50 / person

Sausage rolls, Pizza, Chips (French Fries), Sandwiches, Chicken wings, Coleslaw

Menu B (Buffet)

£17.95 / person

Sausage rolls, Pizza, Chips (French Fries), Sandwiches, Chicken wings, Coleslaw

Menu C (Buffet)

£21.50 / person

Sausage Rolls, Pizza, Chicken Drumsticks, Chips (French Fries), Chicken Wings, Sandwiches (Selection of 3 different fillings), Oriental Platter, Coleslaw, Quiche Lorraine, Buffet Pork Pies, Salad Bowl, Sweet Choice of the Day

Didn't use a room as attended a function however they were very attentive, a few of us left late as chatting (family funeral) and they were so kind and patient. Food was lovely, staff friendly, shame about the reason be nice to visit again on nicer terms.

From start to finish Tracey was very helpful and advised us at a very difficult time in our lives. My Dad's funeral tea was exceptional, the staff were friendly and helpful. Helping the guests throughout the afternoon they even supplied containers for us to take home food that we couldn't quite manage.
